Default removal of headlight unit

Is it necessary to remove the bumper to remove the head light?

Thanks

on a 307 yes as there are bolts you cannot get to you can however just remove the side of the bumper and get enough room to get at the bolts

Hi Thanks for the reply to this and the 106 question.

The problem with the headlight unit is the RH indicator doesn't work in the unit, the side repeater and rear do, but fast, and there is a electrical pulse at the headlight connector, and when I manually connect a bulb to the connector everything works fine. So im guessing its a connection problem in the headlight unit.

Chuck some patrolium jelly (Vaseline) on to the bulb holder contact points, see if it works

Could be a bad earth too.
Look for earthing points M003A as in the diagram H for the RH headlamp unit and make sure its clean.
