Question Rear wheel bearing

Sounds like my new (to me) 307 is going to need a rear wheel bearing soon, easy job or a pain??

Cos I'm 54 years old and had more cars than I can remember

Its the offside rear.

could it be because its been sat around alot? it does have very low mileage

i read they should last the life of the car but im pretty sure my rear offside is a little rough in places

Hi Monty
Realy! I did think its only done 44k but I suppose its like anything, Deteriorates over time, Its only slight at the moment so we will see how long it takes too get worse.
I suppose it could have been clouted at some time as well. I did that with my C5, slid on snow into the curb and it knackered the bearing.
