Default Peugeot 307 2005 1.6 Diesel - Fault Codes

I have three fault codes that are preventing my car from getting an mot.

The clock displays "Antipolution Fault" and when it does the dashboard bleeps.

Unfortunately I'm in debt management and have limited funds available to fix the car so I'm looking for hints on what I can check/test to find the faults.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Richard

Default P0093

P0093 Fuel System Large Leak Detected

"When the computer sets this code it senses a large fuel leak in the high-pressure section of the engine."

The car is parked in a garage on a white floor there are no leaks of any kind visible on the floor and checking the engine visually there are no leaks anywhere.

The running cost (fuel) of the car has not changed and if I was leaking fuel I would have expected some change here.

So safe to assume its a bad sensor?

Default P0409

P0409 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor "A" Circuit

"P0409 is a generic trouble code relating to a problem incurred in the electrical circuit to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve."

The EGR and the Turbo have both been removed and visually checked by a mechanic so it seems that this is just the sensor?

Default P1351

P1351 --

This code seems to be specific to each manufacturer I can find what it means for a lot of different manufacturers but I haven't found what it means for a Peugeot?

You need a proper Planet diagnostic.

P1351 is a well known fault for glow plugs.

Others are well documented on here but I wouldn't spend a penny on parts until after the Planet diagnostic.

The fuel leak report is not an external one but an internal one being picked up by the monitoring system. I would try checking the injectors one at a time for their return to tank flows to see if one is returning more than the others.

When was the fuel filter last changed a blocked filter can trigger a fuel leak fault as the fuel pressure drops when the pump cannot suck enough fuel through the filter.
