Question OEM Radio/CD Player Problem

Hello everyone,

I've been having problems with the radio in my 2003 307 XSi; if I don't use the car for a number of days, some of the six preset FM radio stations are lost from memory. Other than the above problem, everything else works absolutely fine.

My question: does the BSI affect the radio, or could this be solely related to the radio unit itself (stock Radio/CD with oem in-dash 5 CD changer)?

Thanks!

What is the history of the battery? How old is it, is it fully charged, has it been load tested? Leaving it a couple of days might mean it has lost a bit of charge enough to cause this memory loss.

The battery's a year old, and through the ODBII, it's around 14.1v and the car starts and runs with no hesitation. Could the problem be BSI related?
