Default New Locks

Hi all, i have a question regarding replacing the locks on stolen 307.
the thieves apparently took the car with no damage to door or ignition barrel.
suggesting that they have a key, the central locking does not operate from the key fob you have to use the key in the lock.
can i just swap out the locks with no BSI change if i keep the original key fob and just switch the blade for the new lock set.

thanks for any input Mozz

Just recode the key and any original keys will no longer start the car but yes what you are saying would work problem is the remote that someone potentially has would still open the car and the chip would allow starting ok they would need to get past your barrel change but it is possible !!

You could also do both change barrel AND recode that way the other key is useless

Default replacement locks

thanks for your reply, as far as i understand receiver in car doesn't work,
so remote access from key isn't a problem.
so if i can just swap out the locks, it will save a lot of time and money.
cheers
