Question Low oil pressure caused by electrics

Hey guys,

2007 Peugeot 307 1.4 16v DSign Facelift

I'm currently experiencing that common 307 fault of the "engine oil pressure too low", however its slightly strange. The light only appears when the car is warm and something like the full beam being turned on or the radiator fan coming on. I thought previously that the light was coming on when I was slowing down after driver for a half hour or so (light came on for the first time coming off a motorway exit), however I can now force the light to happen by simply allowing the engine to idle until the radiator fan turns on, and then flashing the high beams.

Hey presto, the warning flashes.

Anyone had any experience like this? The engine has been checked over by a mechanic, and it is running flawlessly, which makes me think it may be grounding or something else similar.

All I can tell is that when theres a heavy electrical surge, the light comes on.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

Maybe bad battery? Peugeot electronic don't like it when voltage and current is not good.

Also, your alternator might not charging good enough, or voltage regulator (not sure if its correct term in English) is not working properly.

I would check those things for the start.
