You can only program a NEW key not a used one and you need to have the 4 digit access code to do it

So you can't just program a new key fob board on its own but I do have the code so that's lucky

No you cant code JUST a keyfob as the fob and immobiliser chip are a matched pair 1 wont work without the other.

If you have the code they do cheap keys on eBay with a chip won't do central locking etc but will open the door and start the car look at about 50 notes all in if you have planet

These cheap kits work well. Reasonably easy to fit, you just need to find the lock/unlock wires at the BSI. Have one fitted to a 406 where the key just gave up the ghost and no amount of effort could get it operational [myself and professional locksmith]. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Remote-...cAAOSwuLZY5imw
