Default Ignition barrel gone now dash dead ?

Need help ! Im baffled here ,the other day the key got stuck in the ignition, after a bit of wiggling it came out ,when i came back to the car put the key in and turned it ...nothing . The dash was lit up as normal .to get the car home i took the back off the barrel and turned it with a screwdriver. Once at home i sprayed wd40 in gave it a few turns but now it wont start as the ignition isnt working and the dash wont come on ? Any ideas ?

Is that the black cylinder with the cross on that's clipped onto the end of the barrel ?

You need the WHOLE barrel its worn and faulty its a common issue.

The black cylinder is the decoder ring for the immobiliser
