Default Identification of part

Can anyone shed some light on what this piece is in the photo. It is/was attached to the rear passenger light cluster (reversing light i think).
I think it has something to do with the buzzer for parking although my model does not have parking sensors.
It had a long piece of thin tin foil type attacment that i acidentally pulled out. Does anyone know what this tin foil like piece attaches to and what it is for?
Also the car makes a random bleeping when reversing, is this normal for a model without parking assist? any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the reply about the aftermarket parking aid I didn't have a clue. don't suppose you know how the tin foil bit works? is it the actual sensor or should it attach to something else. Just cant see how a bit of foil can detect anything.
