Default I need a new gearstick!

My car was broken into and for some reason which baffles me they chose to SAW OFF my gearstick??? So I'm left with a metal stump!

Can I replace just this 'stick' and if so are there any other models or makes that are compatible? I'll try local scrapyards but just want to know if I can widen my scope!

Any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

Heather

Enough that I could drive home!

Between 3-4 inches. Maybe more. They've basically just sawn off the gearstick knob.
