Default heater blower

hi everyone, after following the advice on the heater blower problem in a sticky on here, i changed the resistor for a new one, it worked when i tried it then when going off with the car today it never worked at all on any of the settings, has anyone got any ideas on what to do next as this time of year you need to have the blower working, any help appreciated, thanks

Did you check the fan motor is smooth? Is it possible it could be catching and burning things out?

will check that out in the next day or so, its just funny how it worked when we changed the resistor then when i went to go of with the car again it would not work, will try giving the pins a clean again to see if there is any luck with it, if anyone else has any ideas as well please let me know many thanks

Was the original melted, the connector that is?

no to be honest there didn't look like there was anything wrong with it, but changed it any way seeing that i got a new one, the wires look fine going to the resister plug as well, not melted or anything
