Default Handbrake cable snapped

Hi,

Is the replacement of the 2 handbrake cables on a 307SW an easy job?

Peugeot wanted 290 to do the job for me. 1 has snapped and I was told the other has stretched.

Also, can anyone recommend where to get mapped/remapped in the Uxbridge area. I have a 1.6HDI and would like a little more torque/BHP. Where shoud I start on upgrading this car?

Thanks for any input......

Andy

Depends,

Is the replacement cable made of gold/platinum or other precious metals?

Or are they replacing the whole system?

Cos 290 to fit a cable sounds a bit crap like
