The dash is obviously in sections, main frame of it, all the front panels/glovebox and the top of the dash if you look properly is split down the center, i have undone all the screws at either end, along the front and removed all panels and the glovebox, the passenger side of the dash top lifts but does not come away, i have been under it with a torch but cannot find whats binding it still??

I done 1 a while ago still have it lying here and you need to remove the whole dash with the metalwork behind it not just the top section

Hmm that makes no sense because you can buy just the dash top, which metal sections would i need to remove?
Im trying to get to the passenger airbag, the plug/wiring going to it has a short circuit somewhere!

I stripped the whole car for parts and as i say the whole dash was removed i do not remember it being difficult you might then be able to remove the top as you describe i know what you mean about it splits in the middle but not sure if its meant to come apart in the middle

2 bolts each end at door pillar 2 i think next to heater i think there were some in the top middle and behind the tweeters sorry it was a while ago
