Default Electric Window problems

Hello everyone

I have been having a problem that has gradually been getting worse the last few months with the electric window on the drivers side (most used window).

When i bought the 307 Rapier car (second hand) the electric window always seemed a bit dodgy, as sometimes when the window was half open and I tried to open the window more, it would close and sometimes if i tried to close it it would open.

But now when it is open it very hard to close it and can sometimes take many attempts to get it closed (and still has the same problem of not going in the direction I want it to).

Has anyone any idea what the problem could be ?

Do I need to get a full window regulator repair kit or something less expensive.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
John

Dismantle and clean the switch and spray silicone spray in the felt window channels.

Get a brush and go around the frame with the window open. Might be a bit of rubbish in there and making the car think your arm is in way. Mine was like this.
