Default Drive Belt part number, Size?

Hi

Can anyone tell me the correct part number for the drive belt on a 2006 Peugeot 307 1.4 16v with A/C it is also a VVT model.

Europarts have listed a few belts that are possible fitment.

6PK1125 is too big! as I have that one in hand, the other is 6PK1050 which i'm guessing is the correct one. but why list 2 different belts!!

Both state they are for aircon, but why the size difference?

2006 model could be old model or facelift model so thats the real reason

Eurocarparts use monkeys to populate their databases and thats the likely reason

The code 6PK1050 means the belt is 1050mm long. 6PK1125 is 1125mm long. 6PK means it is a serpentine belt with 6 'V's across it's face.

To get an approximate length for yours, use a piece of string or flex wire, route it around the pulleys and measure the length where it meets up with itself. Or if you have a flexible plastic type tape measure, you can use that.

Just remember, if the old belt is off, the tensioner will be in it's fully extended position so the measured length will be longer than the actual belt required by a few cm's.
