Default Depollution system faulty 307 1.6 HDI

Hi all,

New on here looking for some advice/help. I've recently started working on my car and today did and oil and air filter change. As many of you know the air filter is at the back of the engine so a few intake pipes need to be removed.

Once I had completed the service my EML came on. A warning of 'depollution system faulty' is coming up upon start-up. The car runs okay and isn't going into limp mode.

Could this be something to do with the turbo? I had to remove that hose and it's the only thing I can think of.

Thanks in advance!

You might have knocked off a vacuum pipe at the rear so I would check all pipework connections first.
