Default Clutch Problems

About 3 weeks ago I had the anti-pollution fault come up, after a few days of driving round the fault went by itself, a week after that there was a horrible grinding when my clutch was pressed in.

I took it to the garage and he said the clutch did needed replacing, he replaced the clutch and was all fine for about 24hrs, now I seem to be getting a strange noise as I accelerate, sounds like someone holding wire wool against a spinning metal disc which gets louder the more I apply power, if I change gear as this noise is going i get a squeek/dry clunk sound as I come off the clutch. I have told the garage and they have said to bring it in and he will have a look, obviously I am a bit worried about how maybe they might have mis-fitted something or broken something else whilst doing the clutch? Does anyone know what the noise is as I do not want to get stung with some huge bill, for something they say it is not when I paid them enough to do the clutch in the first place.
