Default Bosch or siemens fuel filter

Which is which? My filter housing has a slight leak, I stripped it and cleaned the threads, sealing faces and o ring. Still a slight leak, the o ring was difficult to put back on and it still has a slight leak. I am going to replace the filter and o ring. But how can you tell whether it's diesel or siemens. The pump and injectors are bosch. Peugeot dealer gave me this part number:1906a6

Hi,
You dont say which engine is fitted in your car?
Also if you have your VIN number?

A quick search on servicebox for part no 1906a6 and i only get these 3 results
part-no-1906a6.jpg

TURBO DIESEL DW10TD AND SIEMENS ASSEMBLY AND MAHLE FUEL FILTER
DW10ATED TURBO DIESEL FAP AND MAHLE FUEL FILTER
TURBO DIESEL DW10TD AND MAHLE FUEL FILTER AND MOUNTING BOSCH

Seems to be that the part no you have is just for the cartridge and it seems that cartridge is fitted both in bosch and siemens filters

So my guess would be if its another housing you are after it wouldnt matter if you got a bosch or siemens one as call the part numbers and connections look the same to me,,unless someone better in the know can prove me wrong.

Regards Terry

Managed to find the corresponding filter element online. From the dimensions of the element I believe it's a siemens.
