Default 307sw 2007 1.6hdi won't start

Hi all,

Bloody 307 won't start at the moment. Attempted to start it the other day and as the engine started turning over it just cut out completely! When turning the key you get the dash lights come on etc but trying to crank the engine over it just does nothing. I'm not that mechanically minded but I was thinking maybe one of the wires within the ignition barrel may be faulty? I did get it started yesterday whilst a friend pushed me down the road but as soon as I got it home and switched the engine off I'm back to square one.

Reliable 406 you're a legend. Was even more of a bonus when I went to take a 20amp fuse from the fuse box within the glove box just to make sure it was just the blown fuse which was the problem and there were a few spare fuses in there. Thanks for your help 🙂

If it blows again you may need to replace the starter.
