Default 307cc (2.0 petrol): Rear brake disc type

Hi all

I need to buy a pair of rear brake discs for my (new to me) 307cc 2.0 petrol, but there seem to be two types, one with bearings and one without.

Is there an easy way to tell which I need by just looking at the car with the wheel on, or do I have to take a wheel off to check?

Service Box is telling me nothing and neither is Euro Car Parts.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Paul

Seems odd that Servicebox isn't telling you the exact model when you enter your VIN.

Most have 1 piece rear hubs but your issues dont stop there there is a variation in stub sizes over the years !

We had 1 recently with a 1 piece hub 1 side and a 2 piece hub other side !

Ahhh, yeah, I'm referring to the emanualsonline version, which doesn't accept the VIN

Thanks reliable406. Sorry for the newbie checks, but I think that this is telling me that I need the disc with 30mm bearing (referring to note B), correct?

I'm only used to the Volvo system, which has way less variants in its parts compatibility.

Yes 1 piece hub/disc with 30mm bearing you will find that MOST aftermarket places only stock the 30mm variants anyway i think the smaller stubs were on early models only

Make sure they have ABS rings on them and clean the abs sensor mounts before fitting new discs to avoid ABS issues afterwards
