Default 307 SW Roof Rails

Does anyone know how to remove the 307 sw roof rails. Mine are looking a little shabby where the silver top coat is wearing off and I would like to take them off to respray them. I've got a horrible feeling it's going to be a roof lining job but if anyone has a tips or tricks they'd like to share it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

Its bound to be a roof headlining job... they will be bolted on to the roof, so can't see any other way of getting to them.

I dunno how to remove them but I have the same situation. I will stick to this topic.
Could you please tell me what kind of spray you will use? Will you polish it somehow? Can you make a kind of tutorial for that?

REMOVAL - REFITTING ROOF BARS

1 - REMOVAL

I found this, by the looks of it, you unclip position A, and slide out in the direction of B

To remove the actual roof bars, you can do this :

Remove :

the fasteners (1)
the roof bar

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Tighten the fasteners (1) to 0.5 da.Nm .
