Exclamation 307 hdi 2005 rear disc with/without bearings??

Hi all i want to get my rear discs and pads changed very soon but while looking on ebay and eurocarparts etc its very confusing and hard work trying to find what parts compatible as it lists discs with bearings/non bearings with a big price difference and also lucas or bosch calipers!!

Im literally baffled as i do not have a clue whether my 307 has bearings or not? Can anyone help, how would i find out whether my 307 has bearings built into the disc or not?

BTW car is a 307 55 plate facelift 2.0 hdi xsi

best way is to take one off. being a 2.0 i would say its just the disc, i have never seen a 307 with bearings built into the discs

Hi thanks for the reply. Yeah i may have a go on the weekend when im off work. I just find it strange why theres the choice. Would be interesting to know which ones actually do have the bearings as it seems like there isnt many models that have it.

Yet most of the ones, inc my sons , have bearings included...... Anyway - the Bosch calipers have BOSCH cast into the caliper, lucas don't - seems the easiest way to tell the difference to me

mine is a 51 plate and dont need bearrings.... however whilst you're at it make sure u take the abs sensors off give them a good clean and get rid of brake dust and rust and fit them back properly or youll end up with an abs issue..... theres a guide here somewhere on that.... if anyone can help with the link.... oh also if im not mistaken theres 2 different size discs for the 2.0 hdi so check on that.
