Default 307 Bonnet

Hi,

Need some expert help/advice.

Will the bonnet from a 2001 - 2005 2.0Hdi 5 door estate fit a 2003 1.6 16v Rapier 5 door hatch back?

And are there any trick good practices to replacing fitting a bonnet?

D

Should be a straight swap as the front end is the same afaik.

From memory, there is little if any adjustment on the hinges but I would fit the replacement bonnet but leave the bolts loose enough to be able to align the bonnet with the wings but not so loose as it will move again wwhen lifting it to finally tighten the bolts.

Cheers for that Storeman.

This'll help make the car look much better and will probably be much cheaper than getting the bonnet re sprayed. :-)

26/06/2017 - Got the "new" bonnet fitted (as easy as you said), has made a huge difference to the appearance of the car!! :-) In laws (both pensioners) are really pleased. Thanks again for the help on this one.
