Default 307 1.6 HDi inner track rod

Hi,
I need to change the track rods on my 307, but even the dealer can't tell me which parts I need. The rods come in two different lengths and I don't know what length mine is. Do I really have to take off the rubber boots and the track rod end to measure the length before I order new parts?

Ok. Thanks for the link, finally a decent vin decoder 🙂 At least I know the engine code now, maybe that helps. Let me know if you figure out the correct part number 🙂

I think pre facelift had the short inners with handed outer track rods and latter cars longer inners with universal outer tie rods however it was a few years ago I had my 307

Servicebox website working again

Your vin shows up as 307 RESTYLING ESTATE - LEISURE 1.6 HDi 92 (DV6ATED4) Manual gearbox 5

So as windy suggested it looks like your tie rods are not handed as servicebox only lists the one part

the inner steering rod is part no 3812-E5

Cheap enough only about a tenner
