Default 2008 PEUGEOT 307 CC HDI fuel cap not registering woes

HI, LOOKING FOR SOME HELP??
Got a 2008 136 diesel peugeot 307cc, keeps coming up on dash fuel cap not locked properly, obviously when this is the case the particle filter does not regenerate.
I Was previously a peugeot master tech for a number of years and changing the fuel sensor loom ALWAYS cured this fault. It hasn't in this case
baffled as what i can be anyone? magnets on cap are ok
as although good on peugeot i do not know everything.
Anyone changed the loom and still had this fault??
also where is the particle filter eco located??

Diagrams are for a hatchback but pretty sure cc is similiar.

additive ECU according to servicebox is under the LH seat

And if you look at these diagrams it looks like if you follow the loom from the fuelcap it should lead towards the additive ECU

Could it not be the switch itself on the filler cap?????
I would get the multimeter out and do a little checking of the wiring too and the switch itself for a start

He says he changed the loom the switch is part of the loom he changed

2008 model may not have a separate additive ecu but its not under the seat its behind the glovebox

Im not saying your wrong there may be some where the ECU is under the seat but every 1 i have seen is always next to BSI which is behind the glovebox.

Thanks for you help guys, bloody pain, apparently always the loom, doesn't want to register at all on planet with new genuine peugeot part, and annoying dash messages. I've disconnected battery and all sorts, be handy if it has a separate ecu so i can carry out some electrical checks that end. some one else at my local dealership also suggested disconnecting and reconnecting additive ecu to reboot?? are later ones incorporated within the engine ecu then?
HOW DO YOU GET WIRING DIAGRAMS OFF SERVICE BOX? VERY HANDY, IVE USED IT BEFORE TO LOOK UP PARTS. DO YOU HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE AND PAY FOR THIS?
Thanks again

Diagrams came from SEDRE which came as a package with servicebox my mistake..but if yours is beside the BSI as reliable reckons then its not always 100% accurate but yes very handy
no subscription just searched google long enough,

UPDATE .. **PROBLEM FIXED**
Hopefully this can help others in future....
car works out to be a late 307 that does not have a particulate ecu. The wires from fuel cap sensor run directly to bsi.
i replaced the loom with identical part 1503T2 WITH A GREEN SENSOR PICKUP (THIS IS THE MOST COMMON LOOM)

THIS WAS NOT THE CORRECT PART (i inherited the car with this loom fitted)
the correct part no. is intact 1503CS WHICH HAS A WHITE SENSOR pickup.
as soon as i plugged this version in problem solved after a couple of days of head scratching and was about to bin the BSI.
SO THESE SENSORS ARE INFACT VERY SENSITIVE TO DIFFERING RESISTANCE READINGS AND YOU CAN FIT THE WRONG TYPE. BE VARY CAREFUL TO GET PART NUMBER CHECKED AT YOUR DEALER. Its almost double the price as well at 98.28.
thanks again for everyones help.

Good to hear you got it sorted and what the outcome was.
Nothing worse than the threads that just go silent without ever finding out if the problem got sorted and what the fix was.

I was just looking at generic diagrams for your car on SEDRE but maybe if i had asked for your VIN number they would have been more helpful.

Cant seem to see that part numbers you mention on SEDRE or servicebox but glad you got to the bottom of it..
