Default radiator

hi all
I have Peugeot 306 1.6 diesel
when I turn the key high pressure into my radiator spurting water through the overflow
any ideas ?
the pressure is immediate

I could be wrong but when you say the pressure is immediate,it sounds to me like a blown head gasket allowing compression into the water

thanks Terry do you think rad seal would help to limp home from works carpark or tow it. I will scrap it I think

to be honest if the pressure is immediate like you say i very much doubt radweld would be of any use
..probably best to tow it but if your going to scrap it then damaging the engine even more doesnt matter...you need to weigh up how far does it get before it overheats?
how far from home are you?
