Default nearside car door button

Hi all. I have a peugeot 306 and the car door locking button has come adrift and can pull the whole wire out. Does anyone know where the end of the wire (hook) reinserts into?

Thanks in advance

Feeds through a lever with a hole in it on the latch mechanism.
Door trim off and should be easy to put back on.
If in doubt take the other sides door trim off and compare

thanks for the info. Got most of the trim off but some of the screws are completely messed up so i reckon the previous owner tried to have a look too. Whilst i have your attention, i bought a radio but can't get a signal but the radio does function, looked in the boot and there's a din plug on the end of a wire threaded through the back seats but can't see where it plugs into! Any ideas?

Thanks

Ashley

Ahhhhhhhh very good point. Was pulling my hair out cos there was just nowhere for this thing to go. I'll take it to the local audio shop and see what they can do. Thanks for your excellent help
