Default Jammed bonnet

Sorry I'm a newbie,I've got a 206 with a jammed bonnet. The rod that holds it up is sticking out. Obviously I didn't put it down before I closed it properly. Any how now I can't open the bonnet to fix it and it slightly opened. Does anyone have any suggestions please

Hi..I suspect the bonnets under stress ,so if you can get someone to pull the bonnet cable and another to push the bonnet down hard and then pull up,it might release

Yep that will work 1 person pulls handle other pushes down on bonnet to release tension then you will get it open
