Default Clutch pedal low

Hi all

I have recently purchased an old 306xld 1.9 diesel, and the clutch pedal is really low, its so low to the floor that there is little movement when pressing the peddle (if that makes sense)

Anyone have any ideas/tips

Many thanks

Quite possibly a stretched cable which is the cheapest option , virtually anything else is a gearbox out and replace the full clutch assembly including a new clutch fork and cable - not a cheap option at all

ah ok, well I've prepared for a worst case scenario and have purchased a new Valio clutch assembly and new clutch cable.

Anyone know what sort of labour I should be paying for a job like this?

Or even better anyone know anyone in the Kent/Thanet area that is able to do this for some money?

Cheers all

ps forgot to say its the 1.9td 90bhp model - if that makes any difference
