Default 306 MOT advisories

Hi, considering buying a 306 for my son. The MOT has just run out and it has these advisories from it's last test:

Windscreen has damage to an area less than a 40mm circle outside zone 'A' (8.3.1d)
Nearside Rear Direction indicator slightly discoloured (1.4.A.2f)
Offside Rear Direction indicator slightly discoloured (1.4.A.2f)
Nearside Side repeater slightly discoloured (1.4.A.2f)
Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)
Nearside Front coil spring corroded (2.4.C.1b)
Offside Front coil spring corroded (2.4.C.1b)
Nearside Rear Radius arm worn but not seriously weakened (2.4.G.1)
Offside Rear Radius arm worn but not seriously weakened (2.4.G.1)
clip is broken on inside of offside outer constant velocity boot

Questions are:

How difficult/easy are the front coil springs to replace?

What is meant by radius arm being worn? Bushes? Easy job?

Biggest concern is the rear radius arm comment. Never actually repaired these as I found it easier to just replace the complete rear subframe assembly on a 205, 206 and a 306 - all done in the street.
Windscreen - depends if it's got worse - if it has then not a DIY job
The other comments to me not much to worry about job wise - coil springs will always be "corroded" but again not difficult if you have the correct tools (coil spring compressor).

All that stuff was a year ago,how many miles since?
I bet it all needs doing,or the seller would have put it through a test.
A replacement rear axle, Coil springs,lamp lenses,exhaust may need replacing,plus a few other jobs? This car will cost you an arm and a leg.

Give it a miss, sounds neglected. There are plenty of 306s which sail through their MOTs year after year with little or no advisories - all mine did.

306's are VERY easy to work on. Parts are cheap and the car is very rewarding to work on. But that car seems like it's going to need the rear torsion beam refurbishing and front springs. Get some decent shocks and springs (H&R make a great kit) and you'll have a car that handles really well.

Mot stations will advise corroded springs and deteriorated suspension rubbers to cover themselves. Worth taking it for a test to see what is really needed. My uncles Ford Focus had an advisory for slight exhaust gas leak for seven years, it never got any worse.

Some very helpful replies, thanks. I think on the balance of things it'd be best to look for another car. It did occur to me that the advisories were the reason for the sale. I'll ask the owners if they want to MOT it to see what the real price of the vehicle is. Cheerrs all
