Default 306 LH door wires for central locking

Hello this is my 1st post on this forum so bare with me if its wrong area for this topic.

Bought an old PGOT 306 xld and something i did not notice when i bought her for a meer 300 quid was the left door does not lock with the central locking. upon closer inspection i noticed the guy had a problem and descided to cut all the wires from inside the door where it connects to the door connector and inside the car under dash board near heater blower motor wher the loom comes into the car. guess what my problem is? i need to know how i can find out which wires connect to which wire so i can rewire the basderd back together. ive looked at haynes manual but both pre 97 and after 97 diagrams suggest only 4 wires on door lock but i have like 9 going to the actual lock.
Also the colors of the wires are difrent to the loom inside the car so it isnt a case of red to red blue to blue. its like greens yellows red blues to purples oranges whites etc totaly stuck with this.

Maybe i can find true connections between the door locks? ie connect a continuity meter from 1 wire inside my door to a wire in another door to get right colors? not sure if this will work maybe theres an easier way of this.

Should be fairly easy. I've done similar on other cars! ?Orange/red/yellow are power wires to contact solarnoid, black/brown/green could be ground- earth.
So 2 wires for power, 2wires for unlock/lock, simple in factory systems.

Nine lines sounds like a pre factory integrated system so here is the clue, all of the above applied but there is 3 power, 2ground, 2 unlock 2 lock- aftermarket system use same wiring configuration.
Your best bet is to determine these factors

- Whic wires go to the secondary side door locks and try to match them with the primary doors and so forth- Then use a light/wire tester or multimetre to determine which lines are always active and which have current fluctuations.
The rest is trial and error, never cross active wih inactive and fluctuating lines. Take your time with it!!!
