Default Media display in custom (personal) mode

Hi,

According to the car's manual, there should be an option to opt-in a "media" display in the personal display mode that shows the current/next played song.

For some reason I can't find it the customization settings.

Are you guys able to set this option, or know of a fix to this issue, or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks

Don't think this applys to UK models (like many other things in that useless handbook). I seem to remember complaints about this on an earlier thread.

Take a look here and the link at the bottom of this particular post:

Shame as it would seem to be a useful feature.

For some reason, that option only works in the Peugeot 5008.

Reading French forums I understand that there is a weird unsolved bug on the 3008 for this "media" display.

Have you tried contacting peugeot via Twitter ?

If it is a bug with the 3008, and the 5008 (which is virtually identical, only bigger) has this display, then Peugeot must know the cause.

I don't even know if they are aware or if they care !

They published 4 updates of the firmware, it could have been corrected ages ago if they wanted it.

It is *exactly* the same display (and same part number 98 103 944 80). The firmware is also the same file... So it's probably a bug.

FYI, I just dropped the car at the garage about this issue. They sent reports to Peugeot France.
They should have a feedback next week.
Let's see ! At least they are trying and that's appreciated.
And who knows, maybe we will eventually have a solution ?

Maxime - Just curious if you got word back about this issue from your dealer yet?
