Coolant discolouration

My headgasket when on my car, had it all replaced, however after 2 flushes the coolant doesn't look great.

One was done straight after, second was done about 200miles after as I noticed the colouration. Straight after the flush it looked more or less the same as it did before/in the pictures.

It's no longer thick like it was when the gasket went, but just looks discoloured.

Is it likely to be just needing more flushing or something else?

Probably best to flush again with distilled water and monitor the situation. Get a ir temperture gun and look for cool spots in the radiator after running the engine.

Large cool areas mean no coolant is getting through. Modern cooling systems are cheaply made plastic and aluminium, with tiny boreholes which dont stand up well to contamination.

On the plus side a new radiator is cheap you can get them brand new for under 35 quid.
