Default Engine Fault 208

Looking for some advice if possible. My Mrs Peugeot 208gt has the engine management light on along with the service light and a message on the display saying UREA emissions fault. I'm guessing it's maybe something to do with the exhaust emissions but not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Urea = Adblue so I assume it's a diesel?

So maybe the Adblue tank needs topping up?

It days I have a range of 850 miles, so could do with a top up. Would the adblu needing topped up cause the engine management light to come on.

You will normally get a warning at 1500 miles left so it's more than likely that. If the adblue runs out then the engine will not start. The adblue tank normally holds about 17 litres.

No problem thanks for your help. I'll try topping up the adblu and see how I get on.

If it's that then the messages should disappear within a few miles after topping up. Let us know how you get on
