Default What is this? 150 THP turbo

I recently bought a 2007 150 THP turbo 207 CC and today the Depollution warning message popped up and the engine management light came on. I had a quick look under the bonnet and noticed one lead on the left hand side of the engine that was hanging down loose. I pulled it up and it has something on the end that looks like it should be plugged in somewhere - but I can't see where!

Does anyone know what it is, where it should go and if it is likely to be linked to the fault?

It's the vent/air intake for the turbo actuator solenoid.

The solenoid has three connections, Vacuum from vac pump, feed to turbo actuator and the vent which the solenoid uses to reduce/remove vacuum from actuator to regulate turbo boost

Thanks for your reply. Is the turbo actuator solenoid the thing that the other two grey braided connectors in the picture are plugged into? It seems to be a long way from the turbo.

no, the grey lines in the pic are part of the fuel system.

turbo boost solenoid is down behind the inlet manifold.
