Whatever 61 plate is ???
Turn off ignition and press and hold the right hand button on dash clocks. Turn ignition on and let the counter go down to =0. When =0 comes up turn off ignition with finger still on button. Release button and turn ignition back on. It should be reset.

61 plate David is a 2011 car - subtract 50 from the number to get the year

If the reg is 51 or greater then yes, less than 50 then its the same as the year. 2 releases a year, the high number one in Sept, the straight number one in March

We've just changed to two reg releases here too. 131 for first six mths and 132 fot second six. Its to help the car industry and stop people buying cars in first month of a new yr and nothing more sold rest of the yr.

Or just look on the V5, or just pay attention on the day you buy it
