Default rough idling

207 1.4 vti 2007

For a few months now on start up (when up to temp) the revs have dropped on startup as if its about to cut out but it doesn't. This only lasts for a couple seconds after start up then its back to normal and drives perfectly. but yesterday i traveled 30 mins and left it idling and every minute or so it did the same thing (the revs would drop for a few seconds as if its about to cut out). On the return journey maybe once every 5 mins when i was pulling away it would hesitate almost like a miss fire.

The car starts perfectly when cold

Could be a dodgy spark plug (or quite a few other things).
