Default Rear lights wire meanings

I am going to be installing an additional light to the rear of my car. I'm unsure what wire does what. Does anyone have a diagram or a photo of what the colours are and what they do ? I am going to relay from one of the rear break lights.

You need the SEDRE, which is a database of wiring diagrams for all Peugeots. Get it here. Don't click the blue rectangles (leads to more expensive items), scroll down to the listed items.

just get someone to press the brake and find the live with your multimeter.

you should be alright running a relay but peugeots are very current sensitive so test your not going to get a brake light fault every time you turn the ignition on.

Thank you very much! I was looking at using scotch clips; That way, if the current is to much I can just remove the clips and everything should be back to normal (I hope).

Diagram for 207 brake lights

2630+2635 are your rear light units and wires 2100+2101 appear to be your brake light feeds from the BSI

ITEM 2110 is additional brake lamps fed by wire 214 from the BSI.

so the wiring may already be there
