Default Rear Caliper - Pug 207cc 1600 HDI (2007)

Can anyone advise on how to identify the type of rear brake caliper on my 207cc, please?

According to someone who used to own a 207, there are two types, Bosch and Lucas and they aren't identical. Will the type or manufacturer be stamped on the caliper somewhere? Or is there anything in the size or shape to identify which is which? Not yet had the wheels off it.

thanks
Kenzo

I would expect the manufacturer would have their name on the casting.

It is possible to find out the manufacturer of the braking system from the VIN

Hi Storeman, I tried to message GIBBO to ask if he will do a list of my VIN result check but it seems I can't send a message until I've clocked up a number of postings. (I didn't want to put my VIN ol full view of everyone).
At this rate, I should reach the message target pretty soon !
