Default Power steering failure 2010 207 1.6

Hiya, I've had a power steering failure on my 2010 207 1.6 sport, can anyone give me the part number I need to get it replaced please. I'm confused as there are two versions of the unit apparently, one with one connection and another with two connections.

Post your vin.
Someone will look it up.
Also is it the rack or the pump ?

Hiya

The vin is VF3WC9HXCAE011925

I'm unsure if it's motor or rack but was looking to buy a complete unit second hand if possible

The steering gear assembly for your car is:

4001 GC (original part no.)
RP 16 087 020 80 (this is a replacement part no.)

MARKING 60DHYX 60DHPG 60DLAU 60DHYH

There are about ten different assemblies for RHD 207 5door 1.6 HDi 92 (DV6ATED4), depending on factory and date, so it would be best to rely on the above data.

Hiya thanks for the reply
I've found a part on eBay which states
4001 GC, can you confirm that will fit, thank you for your help 😊

If it really is 4001 GC, then yes. You could ask the seller if it has one of the four listed markings, to be safer.

ELECTRIC MOTOR INCLUDED WORKING IN WELL LOW MILES PEUGEOT SERVICE LIST PART NUMBER AS 4001 A3 WITH MARKING 60DHYX 60DHYG

IT IS A KOYO STEERING RACK WITH BODY STAMPED 6820000091

That is copied and pasted from one of the listings, hopefully that's the right part, states fits from 2006 to 2014

Often its ECU failure you can swap module instead of changing whole rack

I'm concerned despite the fact it states it fits from 2006 to 2014 that there are two versions of it and it apparently changed in 2010.
