Default Plip battery spent?

Apparently this means change the battery in the key fob. I have done and nothing. Help? I've also tried the hold the lock button for 10 seconds etc

could be the circuit board is cracked!
If you go to a small car parts place, quite often they have a reader to see if key is transmitting.
If it is then you must be doing something wrong to re initialize fob to car.

Everything is fine with the key. Plip battery spent disappeared for about a week and come back this morning. This is sending me nuts. Will a diagosntic scanner sort this out and erase the error code?

Are you using a good quality coin cell battery, i have seen a few poundland/ebay ones which were not great quality or old and voltage must have been low as message would come up in cold weather almost from replacement.

I got a new duracell battery from Supermarket (3 times the price) worked 100% for over two years
