Default Please help!

Hi there, I am having problems with my multifunctional display.
I cannot reset the date and time it just keeps flashing! My radio works but my menu button does not anymore and neither does the button on the end of the windscreen wiper stick next to the steering wheel.
I don't know whether I need a new radio or display unit. So puzzled!! I still receive messages on the screen for example fuel too low, handbrake messages, emergency messages etc .

Thank you

Peugeot electrics are basically a series of networked computers which can be upset. You don't actually say which car you have so I can only give you a generic answer and that would be to have the condition of the battery checked along with the engine and body earths, then do a BSI reset and if that doesn't cure it a diagnostic would be the next port of call. You would be better having your basic car details in your signature as with every manufacturer there are model specific problems.

Oh I'm so sorry! What a doughnut I am!
It's a Peugeot 207 cc. 57 plate.

Thank you so much for your response.

Hi no worries just helps sometimes, you may want to post this thread to the 207 part of the forum as some 207's suffer serious electrical problems due to water ingress into the wiring and ECU in the engine bay, from the washer bottle but I really don't know if that applies to your car as I am not a 207 expert but I'm sure there a members on here that could advise you. That being OK I would personally start from checking the battery etc.

on the menu bar click the link named Forum. Scroll down the list of forums until you find the 207 forum and then click on that link
