Exclamation Peugeot 207cc

I have just bought a peugeot 207cc.
I noticed surging when ticking over so the lad booked it in with his service department they took it to peugeot but diagnostic machine picked up nothing.
So his service lads changed my fuel filter.
I got it back when ticking over it revs by itself? How can Peugeot say this is fine?t Also when i switch engine off it should just stop but slight clunk at the end.
Anyone had this problem please help. As I need to get this sorted before my 3 months warranty runs out.
Thanks

Yes this is a 207 1.6HDI CC
It has 61,000 on the clock and has been re fitted with a new fuel filter and sensor.
Do you know what it could be?
Thanks

It could be a number of things. Crap fuel, dicky injector etc. It needs to go to a different garage for further investigation
