Hi all, just bought a red 207 GT (2007) today as a cheap run around, hoping it can last a few years. Itís on 53k miles and Iíll be picking it up next week as the dealer is having a new exhaust fitted to it.

Iíve a few questions if anyone knows the answers:

1. Timing Chain - any way to check itís been replaced? Unfortunately no service history but purchased from a reputable dealer.

2. Will it have Bluetooth and an aux input? Stereo is an RD4.

3. Is it possible to fit a centre armrest? (3 door model)

TIA

OBee

No way to check the timing chain unless its been tippex'd onto a cover, but 53k miles is about half the life expectancy of the chain, unfortunately its also a 10 year replacement. The plus side (without the 500 quid replacement cost from a dealer), is that there is now a modified part which reduces chain issues.
Your other issue may be carbon build up, not one to worry about yet, more preventitive for now (a walnut blast cleans it up, terra clean wont).

Thanks for the info Tonyb. Any news on what the part is for the chain issue and would any garage know about this or is it Peugeot specific?
