Default Handbrake

My handbrake comes up approx 7-8 clicks,is it an easy job to adjust this on the drums please?

The handbrake adjuster nut is beneath the switch panel in the centre console. The book says there should be no more than 5 clicks before the handbrake is fully applied. The switch panel apparently just clicks out.

Yes you will if you want the job done properly.
Most likely the self adjusters inside the drum aren't working, you will need to remove the shoes to get to them and free them off. When you have done this make sure the self adjusters have a copper based grease on the threads to keep the system from seizing again.
If you just wind up the cable the adjusters won't work, your handbrake won't work properly either, and you will prematurely wear the shoes.

Might as well do the job properly and have peace of mind.
