Default funny dipstick

There are 3 marks on the dipstick of my girlfriends 207cc (the cone on the end, one an inch or so above, and then another a few inches above that). A picture is attached.

At first I wasn't sure which markers were the min and max levels, does anyone know? After looking online a bit, I can't see any dipsticks like this - is it even the right one?

Cheers in advance for any help.

The top of the cone on the end is the min mark the end of the coiled part is the Max line, the marker in the middle is the 1/3 or 1/4 marker

Bit of an old thread but just want to confirm if that is correct?

I have the same dipstick and this morning oil light came on, even though I swear I topped it up a month or so ago. I found reading those dipsticks difficult as its hard to tell where the oil is with fresh oil!

Looked online for dipstick reading and some website said the middle mark is the max???

Just want to confirm the info above is correct

Cheers mate appreciated. What happened to the days of a dipstick just saying min and max.

Actually seeing the oil on my dipstick is a challenge!
