Default Fog light(s) faulty

I've got this message popping up all of a sudden, checked fog lights, they all work. Any ideas why this might be happening?

If the front one damp/rain getting into bulb holders can cause the issue (happens on daughters 207cc) Longest fix i have found is to clean and dry holders (wd40 or similar to get moisture out) then refit and smear grease, Vaseline or similar over back of holders to keep water out

I presume you have normal bulbs fitted rather than aftermarket LED? They can throw up errors if not fully canbus compatible

No, standard bulbs. The problem ended up being the rear light leaking, and the lightbulb got corroded. Sanded down the rust, new rubber seal, and now good as new!
