Default Fitting an aux input?

I was looking something similar to this to fit into my 207 but not sure which is the best way or how to do it.

I've seen the aux cables feeding into the glove box but I am not a fan of that, I would like it closer to the main console so that I can reach it.

Something like this http://g02.a.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1ImDKG...Xq6xXFXXX5.jpg

As a power supply or as an input into audio system?
Malcolm.

My 207 came standard with a USB port and Aux port.

It was located down behind the gearstick like in this image. You may be able to get this part from peugeot and use it?

Very useful, actually I made a similar modification to mi 206+, but USB port is working only for charging, for audio I use 3.5mm plug cable.

When I mounted it, it was quite difficult to find an adapter cable and I made one, well done I think because it's working very well yet...

If needed, this is number part of the base:

Cheers,
