Default Engine noise

Hi I have a 207cc 1.6 Vti 2007, the engine seems to have two distinct noises, one is a high pitched whistle when revving, perhaps an air leak, the other is a fairly loud deeper pitched whine when revving. The timing chain has recently been replaced. The throttle seems to rev up more than you ask it to briefly and i have also had it stall occasionally and stutter from time to time. Lastly, particularly when cold the idle can be erratic, fluctuating a little which goes mostly once warm. Any help appreciated.

The whistle when revving sounds like I had on mine. Irregular idle too.

It was an air leak on the throttle body where it mounts on the inlet manifold. There's a rubber seal that should really be replaced if the throttle body is ever removed.

Reckon it was disturbed when the new chain tensioner was fitted. New seal is a couple of quid from a Peugeot dealer.
