Default clutch or accelerator pedal??

Hey all.

How much do you know about the THP engine? I've got a bit of a problem that I can't figure out, I don't know if I've got a delay in my accelerator pedal or my clutch but it's a nightmare when setting off. It's like when I lift my clutch up and put the accelerator down the revs drop then all of a sudden they come back to life followed by a little jump so it's hard to tell which one it is.

Any Help would be really appreciated. Cheers ant

I have the THP engine and have a similar problem but not as bad as yours I think. Mine runs fine when cold but when warm mine can hesitate too.

I had similar on a 307 hdi 90. Cured it by spraying a can of egr cleaner into the intake as per the instructions on the can.

It doesn't matter if it's cold or warm buddy. Just seems to be a flat spot when set off from a stand still.

Don't think the EGR will have anything to do with it pal

Don't recall saying your problem was the EGR - I simply said I had similar symptoms which was the EGR!

Maybe you would be best served getting a proper diagnostic along with some live data when it happens
